Clinical hypnotherapy uses guided relaxation and focused attention to access the subconscious mind, helping address anxiety, stress, habits, and personal challenges. This therapeutic approach promotes self-awareness, behavioural change, and emotional healing in a safe and supportive environment. Hypnotherapy is a therapeutic approach, applied by a trained practitioner, who makes use of hypnosis to identify and treat problems. Hypnosis is a way of directly accessing the subconscious mind so that clients can understand what is running their unwanted behaviours and then become free of them, through a process of suggestion that bypasses the conscious mind and the critical factor, allowing the mind to accept a suggestion it would previously have not accepted. 1. What does hypnotherapy feel like? The experience feels different for different people. Some people feel a floating sensation, some do not. Others may feel sleepy, some do not. Most people feel relaxed and at ease. What’s most important is to know that how you feel isn’t an indicator of how effective it is. Regardless of what it feels like - it’s working. The Conscious Mind Psychotherapy is temporarily and legally operated from Lou's home-office (Potong Pasir) where she can stay close to her baby and rescue, Bailey (he's been acting like a therapy dog so we're gonna go with that). Follow Lou's IG @theconsciousmind.sg for updates. 4. You must be comfortable to be in the presence of Bailey, a small and hearty dog for in-person sessions.


Cancellation Policy

Please take note of the following terms and conditions. It applies to all services booked with The Conscious Mind Psychotherapy. Acceptance into a session: The therapist reserves the right to decline seeing any individual without providing a specific reason at any one point. Late attendance: Your session will begin promptly at the scheduled time. Please be on time to avoid a shortened session. There will also be no rescheduling or refund if there is a no-show. Rescheduling / cancellations: We do not accept rescheduling requests within 12 hours of the appointment time. Payments made towards such appointments are non-refundable. Booking confirmation: Booking confirmations are done via Whatsapp Business. Group therapy: A minimum of 4 participants is required to start. If the group therapy can not take place, you can choose to have your fees refunded or brought forward to another date. Fulfilment of sessions: Single sessions booked have to be attended within 14 days dated from initial booking. After which, fees will be non-refundable.
